Specialty Collection: Warm Layered Blanket Coat Is A Statement Piece. Upcycled coat is created from hand stitched kantha( quilted) fabric created in India. This uncomplicated jacket is short, button front, and a crew neck. 

Designed to be layered, handmade wooden buttons line the front placket, similar to a blazer. Intended to be worn as a top layer with a collar, turtle neck, or tank. A-line flare fit is flattering with 3/4 flared sleeves. Seamless patchworked cotton has been expertly blended together. The technique used  is called quilted gudri with kantha stitching. Historically produced for royalty.   

Warm layering cotton kantha coat is a statement jacket created from 50-60 year old heirloom sarees.  Vintage sarees of indian women were pieced together with small tiny running hand stitches ( labour intensive) to transform into a beautiful quilted fabric. This coat is a one of a kind. All textiles have been hand picked, creating this exceptional finished garment.
